i just loss my big ntt a few weeks ago. the symptoms are the same, non stop flashing, not eattin. i treated the tank w/copper safe thinkin it's some sort of external parasites, but it wasn't. after it died some members told me it could be fluke, so i got a bottle of prazipro. i treated the tank w/it and the problems went away. the other 2 dats stopped the non-stop flashing, and everythin seemed to be fine. however, i just found another one of my ntt lyin on the sand belly up, he's not dead yet...but very soon will be.

i check the water parameter and everything looks fine. no2 is 0 and no3 is less than 20. i had these 2 dats for over 1.5 yr w/o a single problem, but after i moved they have just been dying one after another. one big difference in water is that my old place had hard water, don't know the measurements, but the new place has a water softener. and the general hardness of the water is around 30... i donno if this is wutz cuzin the problem?
