Hi I just bought a that is about 72x18x20 and I was wondering if that would be a good size tank for 2 datniods, a silver Arowana and a Motoro stingray? I haven't bought them yet im just waiting for my next paycheck to get a canister

grow out yes, long term no and I would say you would either need to do very frequent water changes or get multiple canisters/sump

Go with the plywood if you want those fish. Datnoid should be able to last a few good years in there. The silver and ray shouldn't be bought unless you have a wider tank
