I can't understand why you spent so much money getting vets to Inject your fish after I Told you I knew someone who had tryed that already with no luck

All the things that have cost you a lot of money I told you I know someone who had tryed already

It's not certain death if the fish gets this I know 3 fish that have had this pop up and go away a few times 2 x dat pulcher and a NGT all fish are still alive now

When you get you new tigers please stop using RO water there is no need for it at all I have grown a dat pulcher from 2inch to 20inch + in 7 years in good old London tap water so please don't tell me RO is better for them because it's not

The fish that you know of with this condition have you even known it affect any other species or just the infected datnoid's? does it spread between datnoids species only?

NTT and NGT are carriers and when it comes about it kills all other dats. I heard of people fighting it with alot of water changes and high amounts of salt in the water and that seemed to work. Also read that its a mix of a bacterial infection/something else i cant remember. When it first came around it was said to have come from the whole salers tanks from when they were held waiting to be sold off to other countries and then once in your tank so long 20inch ST and all the others....Look for the threads.

The ngt was the only tiger in the tank when he got it in a tank using RO may I point out I saw the lump when I went to pick it back up but not knowing what it was brought the fish back home and put the fish with 7 ST and a thin bar none of them got it and the lump on the ngt went after a few weeks of me squeezing it

The guy who used injection and other antibiotic lost 5 big ST 2 IT and a thin bar but managed to save 2 ST

After the ST were sold they both came back up with the lumps and continued to come up and down for a few months
One just stopped and never came back
The other after the guy got the ST the lumps started and he started to squeeze them as I advices but this may just be a bad bit of luck but soon after 2 of his 7 aros also got some kind of problem were there scales started to fall off and look burnt this probably had nothing to do with it and was just one of them things but this ST is also alaive and doing well

So that 3 tigers I can confirm that have lived throw this but all were over 12 inch

I have be told it's something all tigers have in them but takes something to trigger it of not sure if I already said that

I must say my bad, i didn't realise the problem was so well documented when i wrote my first response. It sounds really nasty!!

The lumps you mentioned i to had my ST's show it. After alot of water changes and salt it seem to just go away on its own. But once in awhile it will appear out of nowhere. I to think its something that just lays in wait till the right conditions.

I think if the tiger is large enought above 12 inch the chances of them pull throw it

But I think a thin bar of any size may have problems getting throw it as they are not as strong as other tigers

i think it sounds a lot like a fish version of the herpes virus i mean if u think about it, it kinda works the same, comes and goes, does not seem to ever go away/incurable, blisters that ooze. thats just my two cents i think who ever is trying to have a go at auricom1's dats should put some allegra or something similar on one of the fish just to see
