So my black aro jumped over the divider into the datnoid side. Got home today and black aro's pectoral fin is all tore up. All the damages to the black aro is purely cosmetic, and will heal up in 2-4 weeks. My question is when will the datnoids chill out and I can put the black aro and the indo dats together? The black aro is about 4.5" and all the indos are 1.5-2".

Never heard something like this before. My datnoids are generally nice to other fish except to other dat's. Im sure you will be able to put them together but your aro will outgrow your dats and will probably eat them. What kind of dat's do you have?

It's wierd that they would go after a fish being that it is condiserably bigger then them.
My NGT went after my my new pleco yesterday(and my IT was following suit) even though I don't think he could eat him. I think it was due to the fact I didn't feed him for about 36 hours(fasting day), so I figure he thought I was intentionally putting him in the tank for them to eat.
With my larger IT's they would try to eat any new fish that I'd put in the tank for the first few days, even if it was way to large for them to eat. Lost 2 Juruense that way;)

BTW consider him yours;)
