Datnoid allure?

Just wondering. This site is the first place i saw a Datnoid.

Just wondering what the draw is.
Does it have a lot of personality? Is it expensive and thus causes the owner higher status?
Or just because they are very beautiful?

dont have one, but its their colours and patterning, and imo just a great looking fish. although they are collected and do have "grades". they are a good looking comm monster... guess thats why a lot of peeps here have them

Actually you all are wrong. Dats suck, they are ugly, boring and actually make their owners a loser. In that case Im willing to take one for the team and take your dats off of your hands!

I don't have any Dats, but I do like them a lot. They're pretty pricey, so it scares me off. But I like the stripes and the look that they have.
