my AT eats from the surface now. I still haven't seen my NTT eat yet. I had to get feeders for other fish, so I will feed it some tomorrow as well as my IT. my IT did eat some market shrimp the other day, but very little.
I am dumping Hikari. I want to get all of mine on pellets and then switch to NLS, but I don't wanna spend the extra money if they're not going to eat it.

I was feeding NLS koi and other pellets to my dats but theres not enough protein for there diet. NLS is around 34% while many hikari is 40% and up, plus shrimp, krill, plankton is around 60%. I dont see anything that dats can benefit from NLS that hikari or Dainichi cant do better.

Not really just easier. Some people think that freeze dried has less vitamins and nutrients because its dried out while frozen helps retain nutrition. Frozen actually is less messy than freeze dried.

So whole ingredients will make my dats grow faster and bigger than a higher protein food that consists of meal? Nothing is better for growth and color than shrimp/krill/plankton. Hikari uses lots of this and have larger amounts in there food compared to NLS. I've seen the results of both food and personally prefer hikari and Dainichi but thats just me.
