After not eating for a while he should accept some of them. How long has it been since he ate anything? Maybe there's something else wrong like water quality or something.

my dats won't eat anything but bloodworms and sometimes silversides won't touch pellets hopefully they start getting into pellets.
 
well. mine recently started to eat. im feeding then mysis shrimps and bloodworms. i threw in some pellets but they just spit it back out. thinking about throwing in a farm of ghost shrimp. since they are wild fishes hoping they would eat them at least.
 
If you are trying to get them on pellets, I wouldn't feed them anything live.
 
they did eat food sticks before i bought them but once they got to my house their diet completely changed. so i ended up feeding the bloodworms, mysis recently, im threw in some feeders and ghost shrimp for experiment. trying to figure out what they like to eat.
 
i feed mine freeze dried krill, freeze dried shrimp, hikari sinking carnivore, hikari massivore, market shrimp, & hikari aro sticks( when they want to steal some from my aro).
 
damn i wish my dats arent so picky and eat healthy.
 
My indos eat prawn, lance fish, bloodworm, beef heart , brinshrimp,
My baby thin bars eat prawn, bloodworm, brinshrimp.
1 indo eats only pellets, now after 4 years of eatng only frozen.
NGT eats ONLY bloodworm.
