How did you acquire a small ST

I'm going to avoid the whole,ST size brouhaha derail and just point out that the fish that the thread is about looks like a thinbar that is suffering from the sme thing that mine is and several other NTT have died from...A better picture is needed though....I don't see why you would submit a picture in which the fish can hardly be seen....

It's not that, true ST's are extinct in the wild. The only STs are in fish tanks all over the world. That's why people doubt that there are true STs under 14".

Agreed,almost certainly not from fighting and that is an NTT.I have only heard of NTT getting these tumors,never indos.My thinbar is battling the same thing right now and I hope I don't have to put him down.I have read where other keepers have lanced the tumors with a sterile needle and the swelling went down and cleared up.
