I think a silver dat would but I dont have much experience.... I'm getting a silver for my 150 plus a bunch of other fish so I assume it'd be ok for life in a 125. I think nearly any of them would be ok for a year if they're small. But I may be wrong.
For one year just about any dat should be fine in a 125, an AT and NTT can live in there for life because I have not seen either of those over 12". ITs, STs, and im thinking NGTs would need at least a 180+ because on IT's and ST's for sure get 20"+, Im not 100% sure on NGTs but have seen a few on here that are 15"+

I'd be interested to know who or which few , have 15 inch NGTs? are u sure you saw correctly?
I would not advise NTT live in 125 life, not fair on the fish.
A member has a 5 yr old ntt which is 14-15 inch. I have seen NGT at 14
inch but take a many years, at least 7-8 years, to get that big.
If u keep 125 for life, then only 1
Silver for ngt or life. All the others are better in groups of 5, And the 125 is too small for a group (5 plus) of any mature full grown tigers .
Any tiger would be fine for one year in a 125
If they are no bigger than 10 inch. After that size its better for the fish if u upgrade.
yeah my bad on that thought i saw a 15" ngt, but it was only about 14". And I hadnt seen an NTT larger than 12" so my mistake on that, can you send me the way to that thread with the 15" monster?

This for sure,i had a 16" IT in my 180 and had to get rid as he was just too big and was bulling everything including my aro.and couldnt wait for my upgrade,if you get a gang of five just prepare for an upgrade but will be fine for a year if you buy smallish ones.
