So what I should do is just water changes daily 50 percent and salt each time and melafix I guess? And it should clear up

Fifty percent daily might be a bit much,every few days or weekly maybe and it's not a good idea to mix medications,no matter how mild they might be.

It has its detractors and supporters around the forum,that's for sure.Some here even feel the same about aquarium salt.
