Try it and let me know if it gives you "crazy jumps and shower". Because I want to see if it's 8"

sorry to intrude but. what you need to know is that fish looks different in size when its in the tank and out of the tank. so for a more correct measurement you need to take out the fish and measure it and throw it back in within 20-30 second or measure it while its in the bag that way you get a more accurate measurement. whether you take my advice or not thats completely up to you. im just letting it out there. In my experience, the fish is usually bigger when I take it out of the tank and measure it.

What I do though is I take a hand measurement then I measure my hand...
