DATNOID STABLE HELP 8

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I just bought an 8" thinbar and put it in my 110 gal with an 11" florida gar an a 12" ornate bichir. The thinbar keeps hiding either at the top or in a corner. How long will it take for it to get stable. Neither the gar nor the bichir bother it. the whole tank is basically for the whole datnoid. HELP PLEASE?!?!

when you say you JUST bought it, did you just pick it up today?

it normally takes 2-3 days for them to come around though there are some that come around almost instantly...

Add more dats to make him feel more comfortable ;)

some fish take a couple of days while others will take a couple of weeks. It all depends on the fish. My NTT took a good 2-3 weeks before it came out of its hiding spot, but now its stable and out swimming around

Based on experience, NTT are the easiest/fastest to get stable. Just give them plenty of food and "ok" water.

plenty of food, water change and some time for him. You JUST got him so give it a little time.

+1

My little guys stabilized very quickly when I added more dats. Make sure you have a lot of hide spots...that helps too.

But like everyone else said, you just got him so he needs time.
