I know I didn't by it because it's some new craze I bought it because it's suppose to help in which it has many times for me without harming my fish.If it wasn't safe I wouldn't be using nor would they be selling it and anybody can read it has chemicals as well as smell it when you use it.It makes no sense calling it a hype because a lot of people use it.That's like saying the millions of people taking the same meds is hype because someone suggested they try another kind that has less side effects and may better than what they're taking now.

My reply is due to the hype of "herbal non-harsh" med. It works in some situations but not in others. There are other meds that are meant for the same thing and is cheaper and works just as well without needing a selling point.

Lets not take it out of context and get all defensive.

Chris, I wouldn't worry too much about your Dat going blind. Just keep the water pristine, bump the temperature up a bit and add a bit of salt.

Skip any live feeders.. They may make the situation worse, even if they are fish you've been keeping for a while. Just make sure they're able to get some type of food, preferably pellets into their stomachs. I'm assuming these are from Robert, and if so I believe they're on pellets so you shouldn't have any trouble getting them to eat pellets.

Thanks, I did a 45% water change last night and added salt. One thing I noticed is they were alot more active then before, with no signs of blindness. Also I very rarely use live feeders, all my Datnoids eat massivore pellets and I also toss shrimp in there for my NGT, he's not much for pellets yet.
