Datnoids vs Oscar?

Oscars are waaaayyy too common for me. Everybody has them-from your novice, to your expert aquarist. Dats all the way for me!

Oscar hands down for me. I love their looks, intelligence and personality.

DATS all the way.......I have a wild caught OSCAR no camparison to the dat.......I like them both but if I had to choose one to keep DAT will win hands down..

Truth is, I lucked up on my NGT! I just looked up a couple of LFSs in Milwaukee, visited them, and as I was walking out the door, saw one in a corner tank. The LFS didn't really even know the value so I think I might have paid $20 dollars for a 5incher. They called it an "asian tiger fish"...but they didn't know what kind it was.

Other than that, several MFK members/vendors have them. I checked out Mike's ray breeding facility in Jersey when I was there and he had some monster dats! But some LFSs can order them for you. I just say ask around...Or better yet, inquire from a MFK vendor.

datnoid. because they are cooler, more aggresive , moe awsome, alot less ugly then oscars. oscars are ugly and stupid.
