Datnoids vs Oscar?

I've never seen a Datnoid in person, but every second fish tank at the LFS has an oscar in it. A Datnoid, in Australia, are considered an expensive fish so someone with the pocket to pay for it, surely would have the right sized tank.

wow i'm suprised how many people love o's so much. i though dats would be owning this thread by far. i'm another vote for Dats aswell. though O's are cool too.
