Dats & Cichla Combo Question

What would be the smallest datnoid size that you would feel comfortable keeping in the same tank with a 15" cichla (Kelberi) ?
Please base your answer on personal experience (doesn't have to be with a kelberi in particular, but I'm looking for input from people who actually have/had the cichla&dats combo)

I have a 2.5" NTT with my 4" kelberi and the NTT rules the tank. Also try looking up A. IMPORTZ threads he has a cichla and ST community that might give you ideas

We have a 3.5" dat with two 9" kels and a 7" broko... Looking at the numbers it sounds kind of risky... but when you actually see them together its ok for now. Only thing to really watch out for is growth rate since the dats grow SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slowly and pbass get big quick

I have a 8" indo with my 10+ 15"+ bass....I was scared seeing how small the dat was compared to my biggest bass in the tank which is about 20+ in....I would say 6" is a bit scary still..I would recommend 8"+

i have an it in with my kels and brokos hes just over an 1" they are 3"+ but they seem to be buddies
