I would keep a very close eye on that tig it easily eat your thinbar.

I do believe that is a Juruense not a tig... but yea I would have started that dat larger or the cat smaller... Keep an eye on that dat and keep that cat full... Best of luck!

the cat will grow 1-2 inch per month the dat will grow 2inch per year max so it may not eat it now but it will in the future

It a more expensive variation of Jur from Peru. The link above calls them flash zebra, but now people call them tiger because of yellow color instead.

I just got this guy and was told he eats taiplia filet and market prawn. Will he leave the hard scaled and spinny finned dats along?

It seems he has slow downed in growth. 12" in Jan and 15" now.
