I recently found a dat at a local pet store and it was only for 15 dollars so I bought it thinking it was steal. I was even maybe thinking of trying to sell him on MFK.

The little guy has grown on me and I really want to maybe buy some more, but I haven’t been able to find anymore.

So if anyone is in NJ and knows LFS that can sell dats for under 30 dollars

Ps: How many dats around 2-4 inches could I fit in a 55 for a year or so?

Aquarium Center in Clementon has a tank full of little indos some of them have really nice stripe patterns but as soon as the attendant puts his net in the tank they all fade to black so you have to keep your eye on the one that you want they are mostly two inchers for twenty bux. They will probably tolerate a trio in a fifty five for some time since they grow soo slowly.BTW where did you get your dat from and can you post pics?

Gah to far of a drive i live in Norther NJ.

I will keep that place in mind for the next time i do down to Camden

Then try Sharkaquarium or Absolutely Fish.

Absolutely fish has only had small Indos recently, and they are kept in brackish tanks. They are also way over priced $60 - $80 for a 2-3".

Sharkaquarium for the most part will only have larger Dats but wouldnt hurt to call and ask if they can get any in.

^ really, i was eyeing them for the past few months. the only reason i was wary was because they were so unstable

most dats are unstable in the store...
