I've searched through the forum, and sometimes found topics relating whether or not dats are stable fish. It gets me wonder whats wrong with dats, is it the characteristic of the fish? why sometimes people mentioned they stable and sometimes not?, I dont think other fish I've ever kept so far have this problem.

When you say characteristic, then being stable is a characteristic more common in ST and AT, but less so in Indo, NTT and NGT.

Stableness is just a term that we tiger fans use to describe the colour of the fish... tjhat's it.. there is nothing wrong with the fish at all.

ic, thanks for the info, so thats what its called, I've never kept a dat before and recently I bought a baby dat, sometimes I see its thick pattern and sometimes I don't, and I though the fish was just stress.
