It's depend.... on you... or how badly you wanna try....

It's not about if somebody who's done it or not, because every outcome will turn out different!

I have kept a 4" fahaka puffer sucessfully with a 6" datnoid for 3 months, so is that alright for datnoid to keep with fahaka now???

That's my point. I recognize that there's always a risk and there's always someone who's gotten away with it. I'm just trying to gauge the "probable" success, since I don't have an F'it mindset. Thanks tho.

Sometimes my bjd would lock his jaw on my cambeli's mouth, which would retaliate them the bjd would swim off.

Just keep an eye and have another tank to separate if needed.

IMO Datnoids and cichlids don't belong in the same tank. They just don't "Go" together.

I agree van.... As much as I liked my ebjd, that got sold.The z. Blue front is also for sale now.
Both stunning fish in their own right.

Thanks, I think I'll stand on the shoulders of experience here. I don't really feel like "probably/maybe" flushing some expensive fish...
