Dats with Rays?

i see this combo alot but was just wondering if theres anything i should watch out for...

im new to dats and was thinking about getting one tomorrow

I have had IT Dats with my rays ever since I have had rays. They make a great combo. The dats are a gulping predator and are not very active. They will chase each other but leave everything else alone. I put Red bay snooks with them and the combo has worked really well.

22 Dats and 4 Rays. Same combo for 3-4 years...

Dats usually mind their own business and chase their own kind around. I've 3x 14" ITs with my pups. They live in harmony with my 18" arowana.

They can really eat,so plan on a bigger food bill!!

I have two 3" IT's in my 240,and they will eat everything the ray's do...even the Mazuri Gel.

Overall...a good combination!

good to know! im at about 50 lbs of food per month already so whats 1 more mouth
