Van Halen practiced one thing that isn't "pure rock'n roll" but pure self-destroying ... drinking too much over the years has left a living wreck. I've seen an actual video of him trying (yes!) to play - he HAD been one of the most impotant pioneers of the electric guitar but now?
It's so sad to see ...
