Daycare Aquarium

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would go with Livebearers like Plattys or swordtails.....kids love baby fish!

I think that is a fantastic idea! Just make sure it is kid proof, can't be tipped over or opened up. We have had a 110g aquarium in our now 3 year old twin's room for well over a year, they love it!

Tetras and Barbs in a planted tank would look nice. I remember when I was a kid one of my teachers had a fish tank in her class. She had a bunch of guppies and tetras. She also had about ten crayfish in the same tank. Every morning the coolest part of class was rushing to the tank to see the dismembered corpses of fish floating in the tank and in the claws of the crayfish. The little boys liked it but the little girls always cried. Moral of the story...Don't Get Crayfish!!

A hospital near me has a Big 2000L Tank loL. You should put small barbs or neons in it.
