I came home today from work and found one of my Armatus swimming upside down. I did everything I could for about 2 and half hours, but couldn't save him. The craziest part is that I don't know what could've caused it. The 3 dorados never seemed to bother them, so I don't know what else it could've been. It's the first fish I've lost in about a year and a half and it sucks. I had this guy since he was about 3".

i'm actually leaning towards this, but wish I had a camera on this tank so I could go back and see.
A few years ago I lost a near two footer that got spooked by something. The tank was in the basement and I was upstairs when I heard the crash of the lid being knocked to the floor.By the time I hit the scene my armatus was flopping around on the floor halfway across the room.I quickly placed it back into the tank and it behaved similar to yours for nearly three days before it gave up the ghost.

Probably got spooked, rammed the glass and fatally injured itself.

I echo this too given the fact the water parameters are good, other fishes not affected by the food and no visible injuries.

Sorry for the loss. Perhaps you can pick another one to grow out...I believe they are in season now and the sizes are about 4-5 inches found over here. :)
