Frozen shrimp can also be cheap, if your going by the pound, just look around, the other day I found 1 lb 2 oz of shrimp at $6
I bought some earth worms, maggots, and meal worms to see if the chichlas would eat. No dice so I just gave it all the the Oscar.
Careful with the frozen shrimp as it can be very high in salt.
