Dead bala as feeder for pacu?

No oscar was with it, it was in a QT tank and it died over night I checked the water and it was freezing, and I'm not gonna return it cause it was3.00$ not worth the trip to return a 3.00 fish

Oscar and pacu? I'd feed them no hesitation. Not worth taking a $3 fish back because of a personal mistake. Your fish are hardy too. Let em eat

Why wouldn't you have just put him in a qt with a heater? Seems like a wasted life for a dumb mistake.

feed it, I've had clown loaches die on me from petsmart, for 7 bucks a piece I wasn't taking them back hahaha. I'd freeze that bala first before you feed it, I don't see a problem in doing so but I would freeze the body first to mitigate the possibilities of parasites or fungus, just as a precaution. P.S. We all make mistakes in this hobby, I went 2 months without heating my African/Asian themed tank lol
