As the title says, lost my blue eye just now, went to check the garage, someone tripped the cord turning iff the heater and the Canadian winter did its job and my buddy ended up passing away?
I was gonna rehome him real soon too, now the tank he was in is empty and likely gonna be sold
Now I have a body, not sure how to preserve it, any ideas?

Do you think a vinegar solution would be good if I put him in it over night?
I have no idea honestly. I’ve never preserved a fish or even read about the process. I’m useless to you in that regards.

hopefully other members will come along and chime in about preservation

necrocanis necrocanis utilizes bugs to eat the flesh which leaves the bones behind. He then bleach’s the bones I believe and pieces them together. Very interesting.
