dead Ck

well today when i woke up i looked in my tank and there was my poor baby ck (2 inches probably) lying dead with his stomach gone and my 3 inch bichir tearing chunks out of his corpse . i know it was the bichir that killed him because all that was in the tank other than them were 3 goldfish.

I would have freaked out....dammit man. That's horrible to hear. I try to keep my ck's by themselves until they are at least 8 to 10 inches long. Just my experiences with them. I find that it keeps them less stressed too.

My thoughts as well. Could have been many other things. Check you water levels...clowns arnt the toughest fish around when it come to water quality

well im pretty sure it was the bichir because after the knife's death the goldfish were starting to have their fins nipped and scales being ripped off.

hmm idk about it being the bichir
my ck has always had senegals in with it since day 1 and never a problem.
The bichir might of just thought hey, free food as it was making its rounds.
