ok . so its a little late for this guy . but i want to know what people think happend so i can stop it happening again .

i came home yesterday to find one of two albino senegal polyps in a very bad way.

he had blood on his dorsal fins/ spins and down the sides of hiim .

i beleive he was slightly deformed as he had a bit of a hump and put this down to inbreeding .

the other one is perfectly fine.

the water perams seem ok . amonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 15/20 . steady temp no flucutions untill i did a water change ( in the hope that it would help ) but only did 25% so not major .

in the tank there is a rubber eel . a rope fish . another abino polyp . a small tsn type cat ( in the pic ) a small ray a clown loach and some l number plecos . and a very small fire eel. ( i think thats it ) .

please let me know what you think happened. as i dont want this to happen again.

thanks.

ultimately it looks like Hemorrhagic Septicemia that did it in

ah . thanks. so you think it was a bacterial infection then ? is it likley to affect my other pollyp ? or any other fish ?

oh. .... well . read about that .

and thats just f***in great that is. ! .
what a nasty little b*****d that is then .

now im hoping your wrong beblondie . i REALLY dont like the sound of that .

aparently its like the ebola virus ( in the film outbrake - with the monkey ) but for fish .

== i did read that the Hemorrhagic Septicemia hadnt been found in temps above 18degrees C though . so could be a false allarm ? any more info beblondie ?

many thanks in advance.
