I do abut 1-2 WC on week about 20-25% filter is good. Captive and I have this 3 rays about 3 years.
N03 are little higher I have feed lot of food "pellets" traying to breed them.

Damn that's not good. Almost looks like serious fungal infection or something.

All you can really do is provide excellent water quality and perhaps treat the tank with some kind of med. Sorry

Is the heater in a sump?
