i am hoping to set up a fish only marine tan kit will be 48"x15"x24" i have 2 peices of dead coral rock in a malawi set up at the momement i have 2 peices 1 weighing 4kg other weighing 2kg i was hoping if i got a couple more peices of this maybe 8kg-10kg then abou 5 kg of live rock would this work if at a later stage i get more live rock rock oh ye filteration is fluval 405,rena xp2

I am not exactly sure what your question is but IF your asking if 'dead' rock can become 'live' again the answer is yes, given time, seeding with some 'live' rock will certainly speed up process, but it can work.

yes thats was my question and how much rock will i need i will stock it with a species of lionfish and hopefully a species of eel

well it's sold in kilos over here but i think 2 ib is roughly 1 kilo and do i really need tha much if i am going to rune those 2 filters

What filters & why?

i.m running a fluval 405 and a rena xp2 on the tank i was hoping tht if i run these i wouldn't need as much live rock cas i don't have loads of money and it's quite expensive

Using FW canister filters on a SW tank will give you nitrate issues. Filtration for SW consists of LR & a good skimmer.
