Dead spots in water.

This morning, the ammonia level is still 0,25 in mid mater level. I really don't know what I can do more. The turnover rate is more than 13 an hour. Water returns are divided between top, middle and bottom. There is more than enough bio media for one 4 inches jackd depmsey (2 X 2217 with substrat pro).

Suprisingly, the fish don't seem affected at all.

What do you think.

What is your tank ammonia level in mid/bottom water ?

Your turnover rate is nowhere near that man. I'd say more like 8x which is still alot

OMG I dropped flakes in watches the flow pattern, found the slowest moving part at the very bottom and .25 ammonia poor fish. I have to go to work now but I know one thing this will not be like this tomorrow I will move the power heads and if its still like this 2 more power heads will go in if i have to put 10,000 GPH in the tank I will do it.

Jack pot !!! I removed a big piece of drift wook and replaced it with a smaller one; one hour later, ammonia reads 0 ppm in middle and bottom water !
