Here we go again…

New guy is maybe 2 inches long - barely any red developed. Maybe it’s just me but it seems a lot more slender than the first one at this size. Maybe a location variant or just a bit younger?
Not as strong an appetite as the first one either - I have to get the food right in his face before he attacks it, but I’m sure that will change soon.

Sorry for the loss. They are great mini-monsters and I too replaced mine when I had a loss. Glad you got another.

Well the little monster jumped this morning…
Luckily I caught him in time and got him back in. Acting off but hopefully should pull through okay.
Kinda forgot to seal the holes the old one was too big to fit through.

Unfortunately the little guy didn’t make it. Just got worse and worse throughout the day and was dead this morning.
