There was also another show they did similar to this which didn't last long over here (also by discovery) called Lobster Wars or something like that...

But i do agree with the 3 captains gone, and captain Phil Harris no longer alive, this show most likely won't get very far... although with that all being said and done, who's to say they won't find other new interesting captains/characters to do the show...

yeah, i remember that one too. That's the kinda stuff that i think will ultimately kill the show in the end. They're too much alike to the average viewers until you get to know the cast members

Exactly... i think i may at most have watched one episode of each of the new shows before i stopped watching... its all very very similar except the crew/cast members are different and seen as i've watched deadliest catch so long i found no point watching the rest which in essence i found boring tbh...

The show is not worth watching now without these captains. The only reason I would tune in is to see how Jake and Josh are doing without their dad around.

I still have some hope for the show. But seeing how the crab season just started.. we might not see sig anymore..

Well it looks as if everyone's kissed and made up.I just saw the commercial for the new season and it shows Capt.Hansen and the others in a group shot.
