Yep and since theyre basically just making the area a wildlife refuge nobody hunts them, they are the apex animal of the area. Baby hippos in mexico have no predator other then us, crocs arent in the same area but in africa baby hippos get taken out by nile crocs, lions, people, drought etc

more people are killed by humans than by all other animals combined. why aren't they on the list?

The majority of the population refuse to believe that humans are in fact animals...that is why they are never on the list, despite us killing more of any of the animals on the list, than all of them combined kill humans.

I found a blue ringed octopus just the other week down at the beach! Beautiful little critters.

Inland taipan (to my knowledge the MOST potently venomous snake in the world) should be on there, and the Sydney Funnel Web spider (again, to my knowledge, the deadliest spider).
