Deaf people

I wonder what a person born deaf thinks in their head. Like we think in sentences in our head right? Well what do they think in their head?

Yes they do. I have a cousin who is and was born deaf when she started learning how to speak. She would ask a bunch of questions about things she couldnt ask before .

Oh yeah it's harder to balance the speech therapy, advaced biology classes at college and live on your own for first time :nilly:

Sounds like a full load and then some. Plus making time to fish.

MN_Rebel... That is so cool! I mean, not that you're deaf...but that it can be fixed. A question about the dreams you mentioned where you could speak, obviously before you could hear you wouldn't know, but now that you can, when you remember those dreams, were you saying the words correctly? I mean, I would imagine that to a deaf person, for all practical purposes, letters equal numbers, they are a code, they don't equate to an intelligible sound in your head. It would be like me looking at Russian, I know the code can be translated to an audio version but I have no clue what that is so there is not sound in my head to go with those symbols. I don't know if I worded the question that well.....
