The guy says it is pretty bad and is in the bottom corner of the tank. He also says he has no experience resealing but tried and did not succeed. So I guess the hunt continues...

He probably tried to reseal it by squirting a bunch of silicone in the corner without gutting the whole thing first. I'd get this tank 100%

I doubt your gunnu be able to get him to go down in price if his MAIN purpose of having this tank was to resell it for profit..

That's what I was thinking I figure in about a month if he really just wants to get rid of it and does not want it sitting around and can't sell it he may remember my offer and take me up on it.

And it all depends on your area too. Down here, there are quite a few hobbiests. If that tank were posted here, he would have alot of offers, and it would probably go pretty quick. But up there, probably not.
