RECENTLY FOUND THIS ON CRAIGLIST IT WAS LISTED AS A 350G BUT IN REALITY ITS A 300 GALLON ACRYLIC PAID 500BUCKS FOR IT AND BOUGHT ANOTHER $100 OF MISC. WET/DRY SYSTEM THAT GOES BELOW NEEDS STANDS LIGHTS ETC. BUT I FIGURED THIS WOLD BE A GOOD SUMMER PROJECT FOR MY STINGRAYS SO MY QUESTION IS THIS WAS 500BUCKS A GOOD DEAL? (EVEN IF ONCE ITS CLEANED UP HAS SCRATCHES?) ILL TELL YA ONE THING! ITS SUPER LIGHT! MY 125 WEIGHS MORE! NO JOKE I LOVE THESE ACRYLICS ONLY TAKES 2 GUyS TO CARRY!!

^ Not sure if its a good deal or not since i don't live in the US, but that does look like its going to be one hell of a ***** to clean...
 
once its clean you can take it to a acrylic shop and have them bake it in there oven it will take care of all the scratches and make it look brand new.
 
In that shape $300 would be the max I would pay for it. Acrylic can be cleaned up and buffed out but it's a lot of work. That tank looks like it will be a lot of work and take some time to clean. It will be worth the work and time in the end.

IMO not a great deal but not too bad. Before and after photos would be cool.

Oh yeah it depends on where you live in Nor cal or San Fran you can find a really good deal on a large tank. You still saved money buying it used.

decent i saw a 300 on craigslist with light fixtures and filters for 250 should have jumped on it
