  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I paid $400 for an acrylic 150, with home made stand, light, and sump... So yeah... you got a great deal.

Try using vinegar to clean that. Should work like a charm. :headbang2

that all sounds great i had a little buyers remorse on the drive home, when picking it up but when i got to thinking, i have these stingrays that will need a bigger tank eventually and or if not in all honesty a pond they will probably need! and may not run across this deal again, it was midnight when i saw it and called 1st thing in the morning guy had like 30 calls on it already, but since i was kinda local had cash, didnt try to jew him down on price he gave me dibs! called the ol lady and said road trip 2night after work! LOL! but as i was saying this tank is so light empty 2 guys can move this anywhere in the house with no problem! this was a salt water set up, and the majority of it is sand and salt stuck to the walls and the bottom still had the film on it from when he 1st bought it! but yes its nasty lots of elbow grease will be put into this and will post before and after pics when all done im thinkin spring early summer project, so i guess well see! i will make it look killer either way just may have to get creative i suppose, but i know for 1 thing i love the tile bottom look! so thats a forsure! again thanks everyone for the comments! it may or maynot have been a steal but im stuck with it now either way! lets see what i can do with it! LOL! take care-Dan

if I were you I would fill it up before cleaning it just to make sure it holds water.

I would use HOT water, that way it will disolve the salt that is built up on there, so that will make it even easier to clean.. :D
