My problem is not my views, nor is it debating. My problem (in my eyes) is resorting to humiliation, degradation, insulting, etc. to get my point across.

And therein is the heart and soul of why tearing down others to lift oneself up is so very wrong.

You never know when one of them will be like the proverbial ant on the toilet seat, they do fine till you pee them off, then dependant on if they land in the bowl or floor yall best hope you can flush faster than they can climb or worse yet that you know they did not hit the bowl cause when they crawl back up they gonna bite you in the butt.

It never hurts to try and modify your debate behavior. When you start insulting, all it does is ruin any legit work you have done in the way of factual arguments. I never saw a big issue with that, but we were normally on the same side so I could be biased there.
