Before I left home this afternoon all was fine and well, but a little less than 2 hours later when I came back. I saw this..............
The fish was barely alive. Moving and twitching a bit, but after about 5 mins of me painfully watching it, it was gone.
The fish in my tank were all living peacefully and no major agression towards each other. The body was clean, and all scales and fins intact. I even tested all the water paremeters and it was all fine. But when I removed the fish from the water a lot of blood started to drip out of it. So my guess is it's something internal. Not sure what but that's the only reason I could think off.
A freind of mine has always been wanting to eat it, ever since I got it in my tank. He said he hasn't eaten gourami for years and would love to eat one again. So I cleaned it up right away and froze it. I'll try to ask my friend for pics of it being cooked and eaten, if he can remember to take some pics that is.
At least it's body wont go to waste.
You will be missed
