Alright, I might be the only geek here that cares, but yesterday the comic hit the stands that brought about the death of a long standing patriotic icon. Captain America aka Steve Rogers...is dead. Shot down on the steps of a courthouse by a sniper. Now, don't get me wrong into thinking I'm one of those guys that can't tell reality from fiction. It's just that as a long time fan, and as a "True Believer" as Stan Lee says, I don't think that this was something that should have been done. He was created in 1941 just as America was entering WW2 as a symbol for the youth of the day to hold to and dream about. A True Hero. That's not something you can say in todays media. all the so called heroes are hardly a step away from th evil they fight. Everyone loves a bad boy. again, I might be the only one here that cares.....
