How long does it take to make these metal fish thingies.

A few weeks. That's why I'm starting senior sem. now.

I'll probably include it in my senior sem. show if it's good enough. Which polypterus has the best patterns and size? I need something flashy. I have a few other ideas for the suspended aquatic scene as well;

-silver or Asian arowana
-paddlefish (American or Chinese)
-sturgeon
-large, colorful snakehead
-GATF
-marbled adonis pleco
-large crenicichla
-TSN
-flagtail

I'm looking for suggestions for what else to include it this part of the display. I need fish that are large, colorful, uniquely shaped, and have a commanding presence. I'd like them to compliment the koi as well.

try P.E. endlicheri and congicus.
oh,and P.bichir bichir too.
and of course,hydrolycus armatus!

I'll probably go with bichir bichir or an endli if I do a mixture of fish. I might just do Chinese natives, or just various types of koi.

Here's the arm for the half-suit for the "A Sight To Behold" stop-motion animation I will be doing, modeled by my friend, Cat.

Wow, looks cool. How's the display for the senior sem. show going?

Slowly, but it's going. I'm looking for unusual koi patterns for at least 2 more koi, the rest will be tropicals. The body "armour" is going to take some work. I'm still trying to find someone on campus who wants to get covered in metal.
Here's I've got for the river display, narrowed it down a bit;
-big Aussie crayfish
-TSN
-Royal Panaque
-Polypterus delhezi
-Sturgeon (fringebarbel, pallid, Chinese, or diamond)
-Asian aro (blue base or super red)
-Paddlefish
-Silver or black aro
-Crenicichla sp.
-one of the larger knifefish, maybe tiger?

The more elaborate the fins and colors the better. Still looking for some suggestions.

You got it! I have some cool ideas for the patterns.

Pony does oil paintings too!!!!!
These are synesthesia based pieces. So, this is basically what I see at set points in certain songs.
