i tried making an ocarina in pottery class, couldn't get it right though. i guess I'll just stick to pinch pots

They take some work. I made several attempt before getting one to produce any noise. Still fine tuning everything to get an even tone.

Oh yeah! They project very well. Their not the most professional, but that'll take some work. The aesthetics are what I'm putting the emphasis on.

The squid will be glazed in squidly colors (bright and colorful) and the heart-like one will be glazed in something transparent if the burnishing patterns don't burn out.

I also have a small soprano that should be done with the bisque firing that will be glazed and ornamented with silver wire along the engraved grooves.

I just got the sequencer attached to my exoskeleton, so it's pretty much finished. It looks so awesome! I'll have photos soon, probably by this weekend.

The wire sculptures or the ocarinas? Both are fairly complex and require multiple steps. I like to keep a few of my techniques a secret. I'll have some more wire work on the way soon. But for now, my new ocarina line! I call it the Obsidian Series.

Here's another exoskeleton. These photos are what it looked like in its final state of wire working. It is now painted red and silver to resemble a lionfish. The battery packs were completed today, so the EL wire can go on very soon.
