before i left for work this morning i noticed my female dovii had broke down the divider and was beating on the male again. i blame this on myself for not makeing a proper divider. i didnt not have time to fix the divider so i scooped out the female and dropped her in my 30g con tank. i am pretty sure she can fight off the cons (they have fry) until i get home tonight.
the delima i am left with is to keep the dovii pair together or sale the female. i really dont wanna get rid of the male or lose him to the females aggression becaues it took me forever to find a male. then again i have had the female since last september. and i do have a batch of fry from them that i could try to get another pair out of.
so do i sale the female and keep the male by himself and let him get big and mean.
or do i keep them seperated and try to breed them every once in a while?
or the last resort.....try to sell to someone with a big enough tank to keep this pair in together. all i have is 75 and even though they are still kinda small, it just isnt enough. and i dont have the funds to get a larger tank for a few more months, maybe not until next summer!!
