I would leave it as is for now, most of that stuff is pretty small and hopefully it will give the cichlids some cover and stop them from beating on your non-cichlids.
The thing to watch for are your con and the jd's, once one of them claims a cave/log whatever as theirs then they will start to defend it and you will have a very bad territory dispute. The fish are all very new to the tank now but as time goes on and they get more comfortable they will set up shop and then you will have real problems, After say one of the jd's sets up shop in say the flower pot it will slowly venture out and claim more and more of the tank as "his" and any intruders will be dealt with until he makes it to say the log, then as he gets a little bigger he will claim the shells too.
It may seem odd to think your small fish can do such a thing but I had two small jds (no more then 2 inch) kill my red oscar (almost 3-4 inch) in my grow out tank, the jds claimed a pot and the oscar wanted the same pot, the hole thing took about one day to happen, I put them in the 55 the night before, got up went to work and by the time I got home he was dead missing most of his fins and an eye, they were the only fish in the tank so I know the jds did it.
