whats full size on a gg yanker ?

they get bigger than your tank is front to back
 
Pacu need more than 300 gallons, do you have another plan for them?
 
Alex, they still will grow to 3 feet long... same with the Pacu... and they will be very hard to rehome. And the tank is getting dangerously close to being overstocked again. Ad being that you live up north, it's not like you could built and outdoor pond for them. What did you do with the Gourami/Pacu you have owned before?

amen to that..... hopefully the pacu and knife will be returned / rehomed before they get too big.

Amen right back atcha. You know, I'd rather have a Datnoid than a Pacu or G, even if the latter 2 were accommodated for. A properly homed Clown Knife though... That's one of the fish that makes me salivate:drool:

There's no denying, adult G's in big tanks are bada**...especially the Redtail ones. :headbang2
They are listed as reaching 28", but I can see them exceeding that with proper food intake and water conditions.

sigh.... if i ever get an indoor pond, ill have a CK for sure...
 
Those are wild giant gouramis... they reach 24'' and can live in a 150..
I got a new giant gourami and oscar today!
