Been a while since I've really posted anything of great interest here on MFK, but after a slight rearrange in the tank and the removal and addition of a few Eartheaters, I re-present to you my 140G/600L Eartheater display.
Stocking updates;
Sold my three Geophagus sp. 'Araguaia Orange Head' to make room for a species that is a fair amount rarer over here, Satanoperca leucosticta, which I now have three quite small juveniles of. I've also sold my large aggressive female Severum and replaced her with a juvenile male without any issues.
2x Heros efasciatus "Green Severum"
1x Hypselecara temporalis "Chocolate Cichlid"
1x Geophagus altifrons 'Rio Tocantins'
2x Acarichthys heckelii
3x Satanoperca leucosticta
2x Ancistrus sp. "Bristlenose Pleco"
Photos aren't the best you've ever seen from me but they got the colours right at least.
Terrible full tank shot, I've removed all plants and gone for a scattering of leaves for the bottom, not a good angle to show what it really looks like.
Acarichthys heckelii
Satanoperca leucosticta, from the same (excellent!) source as my altifrons.
Geophagus altifrons 'Rio Tocantins'.
No shots of the big boys unfortunately, they don't like the camera.. at all.
Cheers.
