Decided on an Elongatus

Yup, decided on getting one of these bad boys.. 3-4'' 70 bucks.. Pics to follow.

Not for a 29 gal I hope.....
Elongs are one I have never owned....But require a fair amounts of space and water movement...

If he picks it up as a fry it'll be okay for 3-4 months. I think he intended on growing it out.

I'm certainly no newbie to Piranha's.....

3 to 4 inch would be ok for momentary...But certainly going to require a bigger setup-

Grow out tank is fine-

I have it under control. I do respect your comments and critisicm but I have the experience under my belt to successfully house any type of fish.. But yes, I am picking up a 29g tonight, and a elong..

Do you think elongs like more current then sanchezis? I would take out the power head in my spilo tank and put it in the elong tank if "they" like more current.. Maybe my spilo is scared to swim in all the current.

70$? is this LFS or from private? what happen to the person i told you about? if $70 including shipping?

IMO is no no for 29g with Elong...Elong are FAST swimmer and like a lots of current. he would be a 4' long tank or even 6' long tank even better. but for out grow tank IMO are 75-90g..
