Well i went to my LFS and picked up a Jardini Arowana. he is about 8 to 9 inches in length and his barbells are almost gone due to a really small tank. but he is awesome and im sure he will recover.
Then.... i went back and picked up two discus. now i have heard that jardini's are ***hole$ but i am going to try the combination out. these are a pair of huge 7 to 8 inch in diameter discus fish that couldnt be with any other tank at the LFS because of their "scrappy" nature. i got them for a great deal too! 250 usd for the pair!! they wanted to sell for 400 for the pair!
Its been a day now and every one seems to be fine. The day before the Jardini "Walter" (from Jeff Dunham LOL!!) was picking on my 2 Geophagus Jurapari "Thing 1 and Thing 2" but as soon as i added the discus the jardini seemed intimidated and started hidding!!! i will keep every one updated on how everything is going.
P.S. the Discus are wild and they were hand caught in south america....
